The College reserves the right to decline applications in order to ensure that class-size objectives are met. The College may also give preference to students applying from certain countries or situations in order to ensure a wide mix of cultures and backgrounds.

Enrolment
Part of the enrolment process is an entry English language and literacy test for students with non-English speaking backgrounds and for NZ students who have not achieved 8 credits at NCEA level 1 English or equivalent. The purpose of this test is to confirm that all students have the required English level for their chosen course of study and to highlight any special needs for extra literacy support. Overseas applicants needing to establish English language competency before making visa and travel arrangements should notify the Registrar. English language tests can be administered overseas under the supervision of a suitable person.
