Auckland - World's Fourth Best City
Auckland has jumped one place since last year and become the fourth-best city to live in around the world - fourth equal with Vancouver in Canada.

Scholarship Students from China
Phlair's scholarship students from Guangdong College of Finance & Economic, Liang Yi and Xue Min Huang have now returned to China after spending 6 weeks with us on the English & Holiday Programme.
Their time here included intensive English classes, experience with Kiwi homestay parents plus visit to various New Zealand attractions.
Chinese Dumpling Competition 2007
What better way to end the year for the ESOL students at Phlair International College than with a Chinese Dumpling competition?
Students from every ESOL class had to concoct their own special dumplings to a panel of judges, and marks were given for taste, originality and presentation.
Well done to all students for their efforts and congratulations to all winners!

Phlair ran a special promotion for students who attended the promotinal seminars, offering a full scholarship to be part of our short-term English + NZ Experience. The two students selected were from Guangdong College of Finance & Economic and will be arriving in New Zealand in January 2008.
