Phlair International College is located in the beautiful country of New Zealand, also known as the Land of the Long White Cloud.

New Zealand lies in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Australia. The bulk of the 4 million inhabitants live on the two main islands, the North Island and the South Island, with nearly a third of the population living in Auckland, New Zealand's largest city.

New Zealand boasts a moderate climate, which provides for comfortable living and recreation as well as being ideal for agriculture and farming. It is also a popular tourist destination with an abundance of beautiful scenery and exciting activities.

The isolation of the country has not affected New Zealand's drive to become technically advanced and strong economically. Many New Zealanders are leaders in their field worldwide and the country enjoys the conveniences of modern living.

Auckland, where Phlair is located, is New Zealand s largest city, situated between two harbours and boasting a beautiful port with many beaches just a short drive away.

The city has a temperate climate with summer temperatures averaging 24°C, and in winter around 10°C (note that in the southern hemisphere summer runs from early December through February; winter runs from June through early August).

Aucklanders enjoy an outside lifestyle alongside the excitement and conveniences of modern city living. The city is home to people of many cultural backgrounds and this diversity enriches the sights, sounds and tastes you can experience.
